Honoring Leonard Hindell – World-Renowned Bassoonist and Teacher

On Sunday, October 13, 2013, NYU Steinhardt’s Department of Music and Performing Arts Professions and Buffet Group Wind Instruments will host an extraordinary day of master classes, lectures, workshops and concerts, presented by NYU Faculty for oboists, bassoonist, clarinetists, and flutists of all ages and playing levels. Woodwind Day 2013 will take place at 35 West 4th Street in the heart of the NYU campus. This 10th annual event honors the world-renowned bassoonist and teacher, Leonard Hindell. Registration starts at 11:30 AM and is free. The day will conclude at 5:45 PM with a concert by NYU faculty, students and guest participants, followed by a reception at 6:30 PM.
